Potato and green apple salad

Potato and green apple salad

Since I am not very fond of eating fruits, I get a good amount of hustling from everyone in the family. But I know, I should eat more fruits for a balanced diet. This is why, I try to use them in salads. That way, I get my vitamins and, at the same time, this arrangement suits my palate just right.

Be it grapes or green apples or even pears, I love mixing any kind of fruit in different types of salads. They not only give a sweet taste to the salad but also give it a rich texture and colour. This potato and green apple salad was the result of constant nagging from my husband about how that green apple was going to rot in my fridge.

To please him and save myself from committing the crime of wasting food, I made this evening snack sans any grease. Luckily, this turned out to be a yummy alternative to the kind of food I usually snack on.  You can throw anything handy & edible into the salad bowl but yoghurt is a must.

Yoghurt is a healthy alternative to mayonnaise & oils and also tastes different. So if you are looking for a change in your usual salad fare, you can try this easy recipe at home. I will list down the ingredients and the method below.
