Budapest in pictures

If I have to present Budapest through these 20 pictures then this wouldn’t be the proper representation but still these pictures show a part of Budapest which I loved from the core of my ‘wander-luster’ heart. If I could, I would have clicked a thousand more but still it wouldn’t be enough to show how vibrant a city Budapest is. The amalgamation of the sub-urban culture and the old world architecture in the city is so mesmerizing that one just cannot help but admire the harmony and contrast in one single view. From its most talked-about thermal baths to the banks of the grand Danube, everything offers experiences so unique that I wouldn’t mind going back there again and again.

Despite its touristy snarls and very hot summer sun, Budapest left the impression of a fascinating city. It sure didn’t feature in my ‘bucket list’ but I don’t have an ounce of regret for spending my precious summer holiday in pursuit of Budapest’s greatest offerings. I missed taking pictures of the city’s legendary ruin bars, the most amazing boat party on the Danube, the historical thermal baths (as I don’t have a Gopro and didn’t risk soaking my camera in the water) and all the scrumptious foods we ate there (because we are always too hungry to pause and take pictures). Beside, as much as I like to write about my travels and post pictures, I can never be obsessed with taking pictures and sharing them on social media all the time. This can be a negative point for a blogger but I never let these obsessions ruin my real-life experiences.

Perhaps, I could balance a bit and do both in future.

Pictures or not, all those lovely memories from Budapest will always remain close to my heart because every time I am at a new place, I know how travel makes me a better person. I guess, that is the most important thing.

Hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I did while getting lost in the touristy chaos of the city.

Thanks a lot 🙂 Indeed, Budapest was pretty and so vibrant. I would like to go again and, in case you go, also check out some towns near Lake Balaton 😀
